By scheduling a service, making a payment, or otherwise engaging Midnight Drift Transport, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before booking.

Agreement to Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the services provided by Midnight Drift Transport LLC LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), a hauling and junk removal business based in Charleston, West Virginia. By contacting us, scheduling a service, or allowing our team onto your property, you ("Customer") agree to these Terms in full.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not engage our services.

Services

Midnight Drift Transport provides the following services in and around the Charleston, WV area:

  • Junk removal and trash hauling
  • Appliance removal (washers, dryers, refrigerators, etc.)
  • General hauling (pickup and trailer loads)
  • Garage and property cleanouts
  • Hotshot and time-sensitive freight delivery
  • Light moving of furniture and household items
  • Small vehicle hauling
  • Yard waste removal

All services are subject to availability and our assessment of the job scope. We reserve the right to modify, limit, or decline any service at our sole discretion.

Scheduling & Cancellations

Service appointments are available Sunday through Saturday, 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Scheduling is subject to availability and is not confirmed until the Customer receives direct confirmation from Midnight Drift Transport by phone or text.

Cancellations: We ask that Customers provide at least 2 hours' notice before a scheduled appointment. Cancellations made less than 2 hours before the scheduled time may result in a cancellation fee of up to $25.

Same-Day Service: Same-day appointments are available when capacity allows and are subject to an additional fee of $50. Same-day appointments are not guaranteed.

No-Shows: If a Customer is unavailable at the scheduled time and place without prior notice, we reserve the right to charge a no-show fee and/or decline future bookings.

Pricing & Payment

All pricing is based on factors including load size, item type, accessibility, distance from our service area, and labor required. Quotes provided prior to service are estimates and may be adjusted upon arrival if the actual scope differs materially from what was described.

  • Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • We accept cash, and may accept other payment methods at our discretion — confirm at booking.
  • Travel fees apply for locations outside the Charleston / Nitro / Dunbar / St. Albans / Cross Lanes core area.
  • Additional fees apply for upstairs or downstairs removal, same-day service, and heavy or oversized debris.
  • Jobs involving hazardous conditions, excessive volume, or unanticipated complexity may be re-quoted on-site before work begins.

We will always communicate any pricing changes with you before beginning work. You are never obligated to proceed if a revised quote does not work for you.

Customer Responsibilities

To ensure a smooth and safe service, Customers agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information about the items to be removed or hauled when scheduling.
  • Ensure safe and clear access to the pickup location, including driveways, walkways, and interior paths as applicable.
  • Be present or have an authorized representative on-site at the time of service, or make prior arrangements with us.
  • Identify and disclose any items that may be hazardous, fragile, or require special handling before service begins.
  • Confirm that they have legal authority over all items to be removed (i.e., own the items or have permission from the owner).
  • Ensure children and pets are kept clear of the work area during service.

Midnight Drift Transport is not responsible for delays, additional charges, or inability to complete service resulting from the Customer's failure to meet these responsibilities.

Prohibited Items

We do not haul or dispose of hazardous materials under any circumstances. Attempting to include prohibited items without disclosure may result in immediate termination of service without refund and potential reporting to applicable authorities.

The following items are prohibited from our services:

Asbestos or asbestos-containing materials
Paints, solvents & chemicals
Motor oil & automotive fluids
Propane tanks & gas cylinders
Batteries (large / industrial)
Medical waste or biohazards
Pesticides & herbicides
Ammunition or explosives
Contaminated soil or debris
Any illegal substances or items

Liability & Damages

Midnight Drift Transport LLC takes reasonable care in performing all services. However, the following limitations apply:

  • Pre-existing damage: We are not liable for damage to items or property that was pre-existing at the time of service.
  • Incidental damage: Our liability for any damage caused during service is limited to the cost of the service performed. We are not responsible for consequential, indirect, or incidental losses.
  • Customer-packed items: We are not liable for damage to items packed or prepared by the Customer.
  • Property access: The Customer assumes responsibility for ensuring that driveways, floors, and access routes can safely support our equipment and vehicles.
  • Fragile or valuable items: Customers are responsible for identifying and securing fragile, valuable, or sentimental items prior to our arrival. We recommend removing such items from the work area entirely.
  • Items left behind: Once items are loaded and removed from the property, they cannot be returned. Please verify all items before service is completed.

Any damage claims must be reported within 24 hours of service completion. Claims reported after this window may not be honored.

Service Area

Our primary service area includes Charleston, St. Albans, Nitro, Dunbar, and Cross Lanes, West Virginia, with no travel fee. Extended service is available to Hurricane, Teays Valley, Huntington, Beckley, and surrounding areas, subject to travel fees.

Service outside our listed coverage areas may be available upon request and is subject to custom pricing. Contact us to discuss your location.

Right to Refuse Service

Midnight Drift Transport LLC reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or discontinue service to any Customer at any time, for any reason, including but not limited to:

  • Unsafe working conditions or site hazards
  • Presence of prohibited or undisclosed hazardous materials
  • Abusive, threatening, or disrespectful behavior toward our team
  • Misrepresentation of job scope or item types at the time of booking
  • Non-payment or history of failed payment

If service is refused or discontinued due to Customer conduct or misrepresentation, no refund will be issued for any portion of work already completed.

Privacy

Information you provide when scheduling — including your name, address, phone number, and email — is used solely to fulfill your service request and communicate with you about your appointment. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

By providing your phone number, you consent to receive service-related calls or texts from Midnight Drift Transport regarding your booking.

Changes to Terms

Midnight Drift Transport LLC reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on our website and take effect immediately upon posting. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
